How it works

If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, you can swap all or part of it for a brand-new vehicle. Different adaptations are also available to help you use your vehicle.

Who is eligible?

The Scheme is available to anyone who receives one of these allowances:

Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Enhanced rate mobility part of Adult Disability Payment
Higher rate mobility component of Child Disability Payment
