As part of a family run organisation we pride ourselves on being very successful and customer orientated in today's automotive retail environment. Our staff turnover is lower than the industry standard and so it is quite rare that an opportunity like this comes around. We are looking for a Local Business Development Manager for our Volkswagen passenger car business, primarily based in Basingstoke.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and high performing individual who is used to exceeding sales targets as well as someone who is very much a self starter. Ideally we are after someone with Volkswagen experience but this is not essential – however experience within the automotive sales arena is essential.

You will need to possess very strong communication skills and be able to build relationships with potential clients with ease. There is a significant opportunity within the local area to grow the department as well as dealing with and continuing to nurture existing clients.

Having strong attention to detail and good organisational skills would help in this role however this is an admin function within the business to assist with the day to day paperwork.
